From 4th April, India has announced a high-security registration plate (HRSP) to all cities, except states like Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will not be affected by this announcement. This is in results in different software, they are running own system instead of ‘ Vahan’, thus they are issuing RC to new registration vehicles by their own software. However, it is a huge progress for India, since only a few cities are issuing HSRP.
All new vehicles are to be fitted with high-security plates from April, existing vehicles are also required to replace new HSRP, the government is expected to finish before January 2020.
