• PET carrier film, stripped off after hot stamping.
• Release layer, facilitates the clean separation of the decorative layers from the PET carrier during the hot stamping process.
• Holographic layer, embossed with grating patterns to create a rainbow-colored holographic effect for security and aesthetics. Inscription could be done.
• Color Lacquer layer, provides the base color and protects the underlying aluminum layer from oxidation.
• Vacuum metalized layer creates the reflective metallic finish and supports the diffraction effect of the hologram.

Note: Size and Colors could be customized within max. 600mm width.

Heat-activated Adhesive melts under heat and pressure to permanently bond the foil to the reflective sheeting. Holographic hot stamping foil is a special color stamping foil which is mainly used for India market due to the license plate policy for high-security registration plates.

For other countries, sometimes it will be a special request for number plate projects, like Kenya, Uganda, Namibia, Senegal, Cameroon, Germany, Poland, Brazil etc. But they don’t have strict policy to use holographic hot stamping foil. • Nationwide Requirement: Mandatory by national laws or regulations for all standard vehicle license plates.
• Project-Specific Requirement: Required only under specific government tenders or high-security license plate projects, rather than by national legislation.
• Partial: Applied only in selected regions, vehicle categories, or government projects.

Application:

For plate makers who have the equipment to do the embossing and hot stamping, and who have a registration plate supplying permit. After the embossing of the numbers and letters, these fonts could be hot stamped with the foil to make them into black color normally. Other colors are available as well, like red, green, yellow, etc. That means the completion of a blank plate into the official license plate.

Leading Time of Hot Stamping Foil

For the glossy black one, we will keep some stock. For matt and designs with specific country drawings, the lead time is normally to be around 20 days. But we need around one week for the new cylinder module making for the initial order.
